On Saturday, 12 of October, an open lecture by Ukrainian journalist and publicist Vitaliy Portnikov for students of the National University of Ostroh Academy was held as part of the project "Fourth Power: Impact, Challenges, Responsibility".
The lecture was attended by more than 180 listeners, including students, teachers, representatives of local government and civil society.
The main purpose of the lectures is to improve the quality, objectivity, non-involvement of media content and, as a consequence, to increase the level of critical thinking and objectivity of Ukrainians' information and events. The public should be well informed about the events in the country and in the world, and the information received should be as honest, fair and fair as possible without distortion of the information. Public trust should be a priority in the media.
On the basis of the lecture, a TV version will be produced, which will be shown on the air of the project partner - Espreso channel.
The next lecture will be held in Kharkiv. Other cities where the events are planned will be Dnipro, Vinnytsia and Kiev.
