III International Forum of Central and Eastern Europe "Via Carpatia 2020. Places of Ukrainian Power" was held on September 26-27 in Lviv. Discussion panels were broadcast live on the Espresso TV channel and events took place in various locations in the city.
This year's Forum Via Carpatia has moved to Lviv - such are the demands of this difficult time.
The mission of the Forum "Via Carpatia. Places of Ukrainian Power" - preservation of traditions and creation of new meanings on their basis, national revival, modern technological development and search for places, ideas and spaces that give us strength.
We are talking about highlighting several key topics that are key to the progress of culture and the development of civil society. These tricks were reflected in the topics of discussion conducted live by artists, practitioners and intellectuals:
● Frame. Institutions to support national revival
● Engine. How technology affects culture. Electronic services, royalties and direct access to listeners
● Magnet. Places of power of Ukraine
● What will give us strength?
Together with partners, we held a number of events offline in Lviv (in compliance with all anti-epidemic requirements!). In particular, they arranged real poetry readings with the Ukrainian PEN, which we all missed so much. And, of course, the Stanislav Vincenz Award "For Humanistic Service and Contribution to the Development of Regions" was presented.
