The public organization "All-Ukrainian Forum for Democracy" together with the TV channel ESPRESO is producing the documentary "10 Years of War".
10 Years of War is a gripping historical drama intertwining the extraordinary journeys of prominent Ukrainians—activist Roman Ratushny, journalist and activist Tetiana Chornovol, founder of a volunteer ambulance corps Yuliia "Taira" Paievska—with the major historical events of Ukraine over the last decade. The film captures Ukraine's struggle from the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 to the Ukrainian counteroffensive against Russian occupying armies in 2023 and the complexities of the current situation, emphasizing personal sacrifices, triumphs, and tragedies of remarkable individuals.
10 Years of War also depicts significant moments of cultural pride and international recognition, including Ukraine's visa-free travel to the EU, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine's independence, the Ukrainian Language Law, and ongoing anti-corruption efforts.
Through a combination of interviews, archival materials, and contemporary footage, 10 Years of War provides a comprehensive understanding of the historical context and the challenges faced by individuals.
The presentation of the film is expected in March 2024.
The project is implemented by the public organization "All-Ukrainian Forum for Democracy" in partnership with the ESPRESO TV channel with the support of the Media Development Fund of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
