Demforum became one of the recipients of the grant, within the framework of the competition "Production of content with the involvement of audiences in order to better cover the public health system", the Media Program in Ukraine Internews and will implement the project "The Right to the Future"
The project plans to create a series of 4 TV programs on the most pressing issues in the field of health care in Ukraine. This includes the issue of vaccination in Ukraine; the situation and little-known facts about COVID19; cardiovascular disease and diabetes, how people fight these diseases; corruption in the pharmaceutical market, etc.
To answer these questions, it is not enough to focus only on the coverage of the medical component, because each topic combines psychological, mental, social, economic factors, as well as such a shameful phenomenon as corruption. Only by researching all this in a complex, you can get closer to getting answers to questions. At the same time, we realize that the key word in each program is "change", or rather the need for them.
We will turn to specialists, experts, officials, law enforcement officers to help us understand complex issues. In each topic, we will definitely talk about foreign experience.
The authors of the programs aim to help the general public understand the issues that directly affect their health, and the most skeptical audience - to think.
Also, within the framework of the project, it is planned to create a documentary film, which will combine the developed materials after the analysis, consultations and releases of the programs and will cover topical issues in the field of health care for a wide range of viewers.
The project is implemented by the All-Ukrainian Forum for Democracy, which was made possible by the support of the American people through the USAID Media Program in Ukraine project, which is implemented by the international organization Internews.
